Comment
The course will focus on business concepts, such as employment, team building, finance and customer service, with functions of meetings, correspondence and office procedures. Students will have to write a CV/resumé in English, which will be needed for the mock (internship) interview. Units 5 – 10 will be covered. In addition, all students will be expected to join moodle e-group for this course, which will be used as a platform for the class, as well as source for receiving information and handouts. Business English 1 will be offered in ws20 and will also use this book. IMPORTANT: first class will be online, and it is necessary to have the book in the first week (as we only have 11 classes in this semester). Prerequisite: 85 pts on the OPT or GLP3.
