https://onlinephilfak.uni-erfurt.de/ This course focuses on academic writing as a creative process. Students are introduced to fundamental principles of creative writing and look at issues relating to academic texts such as defining a topic, identifying and incorporating relevant sources, compiling a bibliography and quotes list, avoiding plagiarism, structuring and supporting arguments as well as editing and revising drafts. Besides short text writing activities, students will also produce their own 2500-word academic text during the course based on one of their study subjects. Entrance requirement: OPT score of 70+
