Comment
The course is intended for students in BA Anglistik/Amerikanistik in Q-Phase as well as MEd programmes. “I am no good at learning languages. The teacher never really explains it properly. Why is it that he/she doesn’t do what I say?” Have you ever considered that we might have a different approach to learning and different beliefs about who we are, what success and intelligence mean to us? This course looks at the connection between learning and mindset, beliefs and strategies. It is, therefore, suitable especially for students who want to become teachers and want to gain a deeper understanding of learner differences. Participants should have a very good command of English and a keen interest in the topic. A willingness to challenge one's own beliefs as well as active participation is essential. The course will include presentations. Course requirements: OPT: 90+ points Attendance is compulsory.
