Comment
The course is intended for BA Anglistik/Amerikanistik students in Q-Phase, as well as MEd programme students. “I am no good at learning languages. The teacher never really explains it properly. Why is it that he/she doesn’t do what I say?” Have you ever considered that we might have different approaches to learning and different beliefs about who we are and what success and intelligence mean to us? This course looks at the connection between learning and mindset, beliefs and strategies and is especially suitable for students who want to embark on a career in education and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges teachers and learners face. Participants should have a very good command of English and a keen interest in the topic. A willingness to challenge one's own beliefs and active participation are essential. The course will include presentations. Course requirements: DPT 90+ points. Attendance is compulsory.
