“I am no good at learning languages. The teacher never really explains it properly. Why is it that he/she doesn’t do what I say?” Have you ever considered that we might have a different approach to learning and different beliefs about who we are, what success and intelligence mean to us? This course looks at different models of learner types, learning styles and strategies as well as the more recently discussed theories on mindset and intelligence. It is, therefore, suitable especially for students who want to become teachers and want to gain a deeper understanding of learner differences. Participants should have a very good command of English and a keen interest in the topic as well as in lively discussions and provoking reflections.
